Thank you to the community members, volunteers, donors, and sponsors who celebrated our accomplishments at the 2018 Annual Celebration! This year we recognized four Chicago individuals and institutions for their unwavering support of the Carole Robertson Center for Learning:
During the holiday season, the Carole Robertson Center for Learning hosts two initiatives that rely on in-kind donations to ensure our children and families have a joyous holiday. The Holiday Gift Giving Project ensures every child receives at least one gift to unwrap for the holidays every year. The Center additionally coordinates the Family Sponsorship Project to support families in need of basic necessities through the holiday season. Our families know they are loved and supported during the winter months thanks to the generous in-kind support of our community.
Back to School
At the beginning of every school year, each child in the Center’s After School Enrichment Program receives a backpack and school supplies they need to thrive in the classroom. The in-kind support of our community makes this a reality. Join us as we kick off the school year and distribute supplies at the end of the summer.
A number of other community events are scheduled throughout the year, including Meet and Greet opportunities, beautification days, seasonal carnivals, and summer block parties, to name a few.
